1. Rakuten (formerly eBates)
eBates (now Rakuten) is a name that epitomizes cashback online shopping! They have even been featured on The New York Times, CNN, Good Housekeeping, and the Wall Street Journal numerous times. They even have ads on TV. Rakuten has a huge list of stores (about 2000) you can shop and get cashback from.
They offer some of the highest cash back percentages in the industry – as high as 40% for select stores. According to the site, they have paid more than $100 million cashback to their users so far.
They are currently offering a $10 sign up bonus for new members.
2.TopCashback
TopCashback is definitely one of the best cashback sites out there, if not the best. They generally offer higher rates than their competitors, and most users give them glowing reports!
Their Classic membership is free, but the Plus membership offers a bonus extra 10% cashback when a company isn’t offering an exclusive deal, as well as extra money for referring friends and other perks. However, they will keep up to £5 of the cashback you earn every year as payment.
Be careful when you first sign up, as you’ll automatically be assigned a Plus membership that you have to opt-out of.
You can also trade your cashback cash for vouchers through Reward Wallet, and get an extra up to 15% value added!
3.Quidco
Quidco* is Topcashback’s big rival, with the two sites often competing on exclusive deals. While our spot-check in Feb 2021 found Topcashback edged it when it came to the highest cashback rates, it’s always worth checking both sites before spending, especially if you’re making a big purchase.
- Pick the Basic membership. If you don’t pick this, you’ll have to pay a fee.
- There’s a Premium membership available. For £1 of your earned cashback per active month, Premium members get an up to 10% top-up on cashback rates, up to 20% higher payout bonuses, a double-the-difference highest cashback guarantee, and no adverts on the site.
- Boost returns by up to 15%. You can take your earnings as cash or get a top-up bonus by withdrawing your cashback in the form of e-gift cards from H&M, Tesco, Uber Eats, and many more.
- You can boost cashback in a few stores. Quidco members can also get cashback in the stores of eight retailers as well as online, although this isn’t possible at present with most non-essential stores in the UK currently closed due to the coronavirus pandemic. More info on getting cashback in stores below.
4.QuickRewards
QuickRewards is not very well-known but has a very loyal user base who love the site and the way it treats its users.
It’s a site like Swagbucks. Not only you earn cash back, but you can also earn free money and gift cards by taking surveys, watching videos, doing offers, visiting websites, and more. I have been using this site for years and I have always been amazed at how quickly they process payments. There were many occasions where I received my PayPal payments within 15-20 minutes of putting in a withdrawal request.
They only accept members from the U.S., UK, and Canada.
5.KidStart
KidStart lets you earn cashback with over 2,300 retailers in total, including Apple, Argos and John Lewis & Partners (which not all cashback sites do), but you have to put what you earn towards a child’s savings.
You don’t need to be a parent. The child can be a niece or nephew, a grandchild or a friend’s. It doesn’t even need to have been born yet, though you do need their name and actual or expected date of birth to withdraw the cash. You don’t need to actually withdraw money to a separate child’s account either – you can simply use your own current account.
You MUST be legitimately saving for a child though. KidStart says it has ways of checking and, if it suspects you’re not, it could wipe the savings in your account.
